Benefits of Surah Mulk
This Quranic surah has many benefits regarding the life after death. This surah e mulk prevents the punishment of grave. This Surah has only 30 Verses, so this surah must be memorize by every Muslim. Whether it would be a 2 or 3 verses or 5 verses a day.
Hadith About Reading Surah Mulk
There is a narration of Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم about the Surah Al Mulk:
‘’There is Surah in Quran Majeed which has thirty verses, it will intervene over a man until he is forgiven.”
Narrated by Jabir:
“The Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم would not sleep until he recited Surat ul Mulk.”
Anas Ibn Malik reported Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم sayig that:
“There is a Surah in Quran which will plead for its reciter till it causes him to enter paradise”
Another Narration states that :
“It is my desire/love that Surah al Mulk should be in the heart of every Muslim”
According to other explanation which describes that when a person recites surah mulk with translation before going to sleep, an angel comes down to protect him from sleep because he cannot protect himself because of the sleep.
Translation of Surat ul Mulk
The Holy Quran is a perfect source of guidance for the Muslims. There is a complete guidance for everyone in every aspect of life. This Surah Mulk full starts with the Praises to Allah Almighty, the Creator and Ruler of all the things in this world. Then there is warning for those who are disbelievers and those who doesn’t live according to the teachings of Islam, that there is a hell fire for them in which they’ll live forever.
The translation of Surat Mulk allows you to understand the deep meaning of Allah’s Almighty message. That how this worldly life is a total lie and we will have to return to our Creator Allah. Then we’ll be asked abut our the deeds which we have done in our lives. Based on that a verdict will be given whether it would be Paradise or Hell for us. May Allah gives us enlighten to read, recite and memorize Quran into our daily lives.
